Unwind is a small, community-led listening circle. We gather in cafés, gardens, and open spaces — places that already feel a little like a pause. There is no agenda here, no expert at the front of the room, and no obligation to speak. You are welcome to simply listen. The space exists for honest conversation: the kind that happens when people stop performing and start being present with one another. This is not therapy. It is something more ordinary, and perhaps more necessary — a room where it is enough to show up as you are.

A circle of mostly unfamiliar people, choosing to sit together and simply talk.
Somewhere between packed schedules and curated social media selves, people stopped saying things out loud simply to be heard — not to be solved, not to be advised, just heard. Unwind is an attempt to bring that back, one circle at a time.
There is no agenda, no curriculum, and no facilitator with a plan. The format is deliberately simple: a group of people in a real space, with enough time and quiet for an honest conversation to happen. What gets said in the room stays in the room.
We meet in cafés, gardens, and open spaces across Mumbai suburbs and Thane — places that already feel a little like a pause.
The Circle
Please Read
These guidelines help keep every Unwind circle safe, respectful and comfortable for everyone.
Unwind is an independent, community-led listening circle — run by and for the people who show up. It is not a therapy session, a counselling service, or a substitute for medical care. We are simply people, choosing to be present with one another.
Entirely. You choose how much you want to share — or whether you want to share at all. You are also responsible for your own wellbeing before, during and after a session. If something doesn't feel right, please honour that.
Unwind, its founders and facilitators are here to hold a good space — not to manage outcomes. We cannot be responsible for how you feel after a session, the decisions you make, or how participants interact with each other outside the circle.
Everyone in the circle is asked to respect confidentiality. We take that seriously. However, Unwind cannot guarantee that every person who attends will honour this fully. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing.
Anyone whose behaviour affects the safety or the spirit of the circle — whether intentionally or not — may be asked to leave. We want this to be a space where everyone feels settled enough to be honest.
Yes. Since we gather in cafés, gardens and community spaces, please also respect the policies of wherever we are meeting that day. The venue is hosting us — let's treat it accordingly.
Right Now, This Is Free UNWIND circles are free. Not “free for now pending future changes.” Actually free. We built this because we needed it, not to make money. That said we’re just starting. We don’t know yet what costs will look like as we grow, or if we’ll even introduce them. Venue partnerships might stay free. We might ask for optional donations. We might never charge at all. Honestly? We’re figuring it out together with you. If anything changes about cost, you’ll know 30 days ahead. And if we do charge, there will always be a free way to participate that part is non - negotiable. For now: just come. Bring yourself.
Occasionally, we may photograph the venue or the group — but never during an active conversation, and never without asking first. If you would prefer not to be photographed, that is completely fine. Just let us know.
When Things Change These guidelines aren’t written in stone. UNWIND is still finding its shape. The rules that make sense now might need tweaking in three months. Community feedback, real-world problems, and the four of us learning as we go it all feeds back into how we run things. Here’s what we commit to: If something big changes; pricing, confidentiality rules, who can join, anything that affects your choice to show up we’ll tell you about it at least 30 days before it happens. No surprise policy shifts. You’ll get the updated terms in advance, clear language about what’s different, and time to decide if you’re still in. Small stuff (wording clarity, process tweaks) might update quietly on our pages. But anything that genuinely affects you? You hear it first. Keep showing up, and we keep being honest with you. That’s the deal
